I have been working in the Early Years sector since 1986. It was the effect of music in my son's life that encouraged me to set up Bizzie Lizzie Music Workshops to enable other parents to share music and movement in their children's lives.

It is well known that music stimulates the neurons in a child's brain. The window for maximum benefit for this stimulation is between birth and Three years of age. Here at the workshops the children are exposed to a wide range of music including jazz, great orchestral pieces, steel pan, folk, and brass band in addition to a huge range of nursery rhymes and simple songs. Using percussion instruments, dance equipment or by just moving our bodies, everyone at the Workshops is able to interact at their own level with the music.
